the fly (animation project, wip)

A man is desperately trying to sleep on a hot, humid day. The discomfort is unbearable, and he is covered in sweat. Just as he is about to drift off, a black fly begins to haunt him. Its large, pitch-black body buzzes annoyingly around him, preventing him from getting any rest. Growing increasingly frustrated, the man decides he cannot endure this torture any longer. He grabs a charcoal pencil and begins to sketch out his plan of action. We see his determined look as he follows the fly with his eyes. The insect hovers around him, seemingly unaware of the danger it is in. Suddenly, the man strikes. In a swift motion, he claps his hands together, crushing the fly against the wall. Blood splatters everywhere, creating a disgusting scene of dark green, black, and red. With the fly gone, the man finally manages to fall asleep, enjoying the relief of a peaceful slumber. However, his tranquility is short-lived. We see an old man sleeping soundly, snoring with his mouth wide open. Suddenly, his breathing stops as a fly enters his open mouth, carrying with it its maggots to continue its lineage. This unsettling image leaves us with a sense of unease, reminding us of the fragility of life and the constant threat of nature.
